About Boulder Hill, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Boulder Hill is a census-designated place located in Oswego Township. This Kendall County, Illinois community has a population of roughly 8,200 residents. Formerly a subdivision located on the borders of Montgomery and Oswego, this community built a strong identity of its own, and people living here began to classify themselves as Boulder Hill residents. The community is currently home to a small retail development, a grocery store, several churches, and a retirement facility.

The Boulder Hill area is home to several recreational opportunities and attractions. Outdoor spaces are plentiful in this community, including SuzanJohn Park, Briarcliff Woods Park and Lake, and Lakewood Creek Park. The Massacre Haunted House, which is located in Montgomery, is a popular destination during Halloween. Nearby Aurora is also home to a variety of educational attractions that may appeal to entire families, including the SciTech Interactive Science Museum, the Phillips Park Zoo, and the Aurora Regional Fire Museum.

Residents within the Boulder Hill community will need to utilize air conditioning and home heating systems throughout the course of the year, as the region experiences four distinct seasons. While spring is usually mild and rainy, the summer months can be hot with high humidity. Temperatures can easily reach the 90s, and to stay comfortable, residents will rely on their home air conditioning systems. Additionally, these systems can improve air quality by reducing dust particles and allergens that are circulating indoors.

Climate control mechanisms are also necessary during the winter, as average temperatures in January generally do not exceed the freezing point. Heavy snow and ice storms are also possible, so a reliable furnace or heat pump is needed to keep residents safe and to prevent pipes from freezing. HVAC professionals recommend that Boulder Hill residents have their units serviced during the fall in order to ensure they are fully functional when dangerously cold weather arrives.
